Palliative Care

Palliative Care is our specialised service for people who have been diagnosed with terminal conditions, and who are preparing for, or approaching the end of life. During this difficult time having a support network and plans in place is essential. For many people, the desire is to remain in the comfort and familiarity of their own home to the end of life and tailored one to live-in care enables this.

Palliative care requires an experienced care approach, which is why we provide palliative training to our carers. We recognise that not every carer can be a palliative carer, which is why we have a team of specialised and experienced palliative carers available to support the person we support during this time.

Caring Hearts provide you with a carer who will offer you, and your family, the support you require while at the same time respecting your need for privacy.

We will give you the opportunity to interview your carer before they come in your home to allow you to meet the proposed carer to ensure you feel satisfied the person that will be caring for you is the correct fit for your situation.

Our service is offered as either a live-in care package, care at home or as a respite service. Each person we support will have a personalised, comprehensive plan of care tailored to an individual’s specific needs.
