For most of us, the old saying “there’s no place like home” rings true. If the time comes when you or a loved one need our professional care and support in your own home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the solution offered by Caring Hearts Live-in-care is a great alternative to a residential nursing home.
Given the choice, most people would choose to stay in their own homes surrounded by their friends and neighbours. Caring Hearts’ live in care services are designed to help people do just that. Caring Hearts’ Live-in Care provides short and long term options for care in your own home, whether you need extra respite care around the clock following a hospital visit, or a more permanent solution to your care needs. Care ranges from companionship and housekeeping, to personal care and meal preparation and all packages are tailor made to your needs.
It can mean the world to be able to keep caring for your pets.
An introductory service is the most common form of 24 hour live-in-care provision in the UK and abroad. All companies offering national services operate in this way.
Caring Hearts acts as an employment agency working on behalf of the Person we support to identify and introduce potential live in carers to be engaged by the Service User.
If satisfied with the appointment the service user becomes the employer of the carer and will provide the carer with their remuneration (gross), travel expenses, etc.
Live in home care is surprisingly affordable and certainly comparable to the costs associated with moving into a care home. The average cost of a good care home nationwide ranges from £550 – £800 per week. Depending on your needs, our live in care costs start from £750 per week.
The Platinum Service is suitable for privately funded individuals as well as for those wholly or partly funded by Local Authorities or NHS Trusts. Our goal is to enable people to live at home, secure in the knowledge that Caring Hearts will manage, supervise and monitor all aspects of their care needs according to the national care standards, which are set by the regulatory bodies.
Our objective is to provide the most appropriate care requirements for the person we supports. We actively encourage the person we support to be involved, ensuring the highest quality of care is being delivered. Training is tailored to each person we support’s requirements (This service is only available in Scotland at the moment).
We can also adapt our service for any additional requirements that you may have and meet additional training requirements in our team for more complex conditions for example; Parkinsons, MS and for people living with progressed dementia. Our warm-hearted care workers are there to be a caring companion, a helper and most importantly a friend.
